My Soul to Save (Soul Screamers #2) by Rachel Vincent

Book Description:
When Kaylee Cavanaugh screams, someone dies.
So when teen pop star Eden croaks onstage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul.
The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls: a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can’t possibly understand.
Kaylee can’t let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk...

Review:
This book was amazing, just cant wait until i read the others in the series. OK so if you haven't read the first book you might want to. Kaylee and Nash are Banshees, the species, only women though, that scream every time someone dies. They embark on a quest to save a very popular girls soul after she basically was forced to sell it. While they are on this journey Kaylee begins to understand the love she feels for Nash, shes ready to give herself to him. Just one problem, his Reaper brother keeps showing up at the wrong time. That and the fact that her dad has now been keeping a tighter leash on her, but that doesn't stop Kaylee from breaking the rules to go to the Netherworld just so she can save a girl that Tod has a huge crush on. Nash, the oh so charming night in shining armor, loves her to much to let her go alone so he joins the little tour group. People die, lovers are almost torn apart, friendships are made and Kaylee's dad finds out just how hard it is to be a parent after you've been gone for the better part of the child's life.Will Kaylee give up on everything or will she keep fighting for that one soul, and for Nash. Stay Tuned...I recommend this awesome blossom book to other book addicts like me. Absolutely amazing book, makes me want to read the others in the series, which i will do.

Shadow of the Moon (Dark Guardian #4) by Rachel Hawthorne

Book Description:
HAYDEN was born a werewolf, a Dark Guardian. But her ability to sense the feelings of fellow werewolves has made her life unbearable. She runs away, only to be tracked by charming, mysterious Daniel, a newcomer to the pack and the one Shifter immune to her powers. As she reluctantly follows him home, Hayden finds herself falling dangerously in love. . . .

But even as her feelings for Daniel deepen, Hayden begins to wonder if he is who he claims to be. Where did he come from and why has no one ever seen him transform? When they stumble upon the body of a Shifter still in wolf form, her worries grow. Someone is killing her kind. Is her handsome tracker really a hunter? And is Hayden now his prey?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Review: (five/five stars)
I read this book in a very short amount of time, not because the story was short, but because i liked it so much :). Absolutely wonderful, the characters in the book were from past books in the series and the romance story entangled within the whole evil being trying to kill me story really captured my attention. So Hayden is a young adult who just so happens to be a empathic werewolf. Meaning she can feel the emotions of others, except for Daniels. Nothing strange there right? Wrong, soon a soul stealing creature comes and brings with him threats of killing his next victim on the night of her first shift, Hayden. Feeling scared, alone and utterly helpless she runs far away, to live like a normal person until it is her time to change into a werewolf. Only problem is that for females, when it is their time to shift, the need a mate top help guide them through it. Without a mate, Hayden faces a very big possibility of dying. Shes willing to take that risk though, she doesn't want anyone else dying because of her, so when a handsome and sexy as hell guy comes to take her back and also saying that he was chosen to be her mate, well she does everything in her power to escape his grasp, both emotionally and physically. But time reveals that she wont ever be able to escape from Daniel. Their love blooms through out their journey back home, and thoughts of accepting him as her mate race through her mind. Yet when the time comes her answer is no, so she will faces the shifting alone, with a soul eating creature trying to kill her. But Daniel loves her too much to do that, he will stands by her side, do anything and everything it takes to keep Hayden safe. All the while relishing in the fact that Hayden is now his forever. Her kitty man. This book was just amazing i was so sad to see it end, i kind of wanted to see what happens in their relationship. Oh well, thanks anyway for creating such a heartwarming story that i'm most likely going to read again and again. I recommend this awesome blossom book to other book addicts like me.
My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers #1) by Rachel Vincent
Book Description:
She doesn't see dead people. She senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.
Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about her need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who'll be next.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Review:
First off my sincerest apologies to those who have been coming to my blog, i haven't been posting much lately because I've been swamped. Although, now that i am back, i will try harder to keep posting. My reading has not stopped, i am about 118 books in total for this year, its just my blogging that has stopped. Again so sorry but i hope you enjoy this new post.
Ok wow, i read this book a while back and thinking about it now has made me want to read it again. So in this awesome blossom book you will see that there is an ordinary girl named Kaylee with ordinary problems. The only exception is that she is a Banshee. You know the ones that scream every time some one around them is going to die, the only problem is she doesn't know this small but very important detail. You see shes the reason her mother died a few years back, and ever since then her father couldn't bare to look at her, being the fact that Kaylee looked so much like her mother. So he just kind of dumped her on his brother. Things start happening, weird things, like healthy normal teenage girls dropping dead one by one. No one seems to know why this is but its up to Kaylee to solve these mysteries. The one about her past and the one that includes her dying in the future. In this fabulous book Kaylee faces challenges that no ordinary teenager would ever dream of facing. She also has to go through the whole love stage with a boy who just so happens to be of the same species as her. Isn't that a coincident? This is the first book in the series so if you ever decide to read this book, which i recommend, go ahead and tell me your thoughts about it. Did you like it, did you dislike it?? Comment below. Any who this was an amazing young adult book that i defiantly recommend to other book addicts like me. Thanks for stopping by.

Coexist (Keegan's Chronicles #1) by Julia Crane

Book Description: Sixteen-year-old Keegan is struggling to keep her huge secret from her friends--she's an elf, descended from a long line of elves that live in secrecy alongside humans. In elfin society, mates are predetermined but not allowed to meet until they are eighteen. Rourk finds himself drawn to Keegan's side every time she thinks his name. He wants to talk to her but remains in the shadows, silently guarding her every time she mentally beckons him. A twist of fate thrusts the two of them together when Rourk is forced to step up his protection and make his presence known. An ancient prophecy deeply entwines Keegan's family and the future of their society. Somehow they must find a way to thwart fate and win the battle...without losing Keegan. With war brewing, and dark forces aligning, will Keegan and Rourk ever have the life together that they both desire? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: In a world were elves, shape shifter, fairies, witches and warlocks are real, a young woman named Keegan who just so happens to be an elf tries to live a normal life until the day she meets her soul mate. For elves (light and dark) when you turn 18 you get to meet your one true love. You aren't supposed to meet or even know each others names until you both are 18, but Keegan's younger brother Thaddeus told her Rourk's name to keep her safe. She is only supposed to think his name if the situation demands it. But will she even be thinking about him when the time comes? Keegan and Thaddeus turn out to play a big part in a war between the light and dark.Secrets are told, loved ones die, and Keegan's memory gets taken. How far will Rourk go to keep her? The book ended in a way that made me screaming. Poor Rourk, i cannot believe it ended that way. Overall i give this book a 5 out of 5 stars because I liked reading about Keegan and Rourk, they make such a cute couple. I recommend this awesome blossom book to other book addicts like me.

Verity (Cursed #1) by Claire Farrell

Book Description: Perdita Rivers has spent her entire sheltered life being told what to do. Lately, she’s felt ready for a change and the universe seems to agree. Her new best friend’s brother is the boy of Perdita’s dreams. Literally. Even though he plays hot and cold, she’s sure there’s more to it, but she’s kind of distracted by the sense she’s being followed, not to mention the rumours of wild animal sightings that seem to mean more to her new crush’s family than they should. Perdy’s on a mission to find the truth, but maybe the truth is the danger she should hide from, after all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I liked this book a lot. It being a soul mate book might have something to do with that. OK so Perdita Rivers has the most boring life ever. Her father tries to control every thing she does, her grandmother doesn't like her father so she tries to make Perdy do the opposite of what her father says and her best friend is an attention hog who is in love with Perdy's cousin. And all while this is going on she is having dreams about a boy. Talk about strange. Then the unthinkable happens, a new family has moved into a house up in the woods. Amelia and Nathan, siblings, become the new kids. Sounds normal right? Wrong, Nathan just so happens to be the boy Perdy has been dreaming about. She becomes nervous around him, the fact that hes hot and every time shes near him sparks fly makes it even worse. Perdy tries to uncover the truth about Nathan while trying to figure out why her best friend is being so distant and mean. So much drama, that's what attracted me. Turns out Perdy is Nathans soul mate, and hes under a curse that Amelia is supposed to break. The book ends tragically.Can perdy and Nathan over come everything and be together? I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Thanks for an amazing story Claire. I defiantly recommend this awesome blossom love story to other book addicts like me.

Desires of the Dead (The Body Finder #2) by Kimberly DertingS

Book Description: Violet can sense the echoes of those who've been murdered—and the matching imprint that clings to their killers. Only those closest to her know what she is capable of, but when she discovers the body of a young boy she also draws the attention of the FBI, threatening her entire way of life. As Violet works to keep her morbid ability a secret, she unwittingly becomes the object of a dangerous obsession. Normally she'd turn to her best friend, Jay, except now that they are officially a couple, the rules of their relationship seem to have changed. And with Jay spending more and more time with his new friend Mike, Violet is left with too much time on her hands as she wonders where things went wrong. But when she fills the void by digging into Mike's tragic family history, she stumbles upon a dark truth that could put everyone in danger. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: Ok so this book made me melt. I loved reading about Jay and Violet. The love they have for each other is getting intense they even consummated their relationship, but then Vi meets Rafe and Jay gets a best friend named Mike. Rafe has powers like Violet the only difference is he has joined with the FBI who also wants Violet to help them out. With her gift she could be of so much help. Along the way of trying to deal with feeling abandoned by her Best friend turned Boyfriend she is dealing with keeping her secret to herself, and trying to find out who is stalking her. Cats are left for dead by her car, evil poems are written, hearts are broken, and friendship is destroyed. Yet Jay will do what it takes to keep Violet safe, and in a relationship with him. I loved love that can overcome anything in this book. I will recommend this Awesome Blossom book to other book addicts like me. Thank you Kimberly for writing such an amazing YA book. Cant wait to read the third and 4th book.

The Body Finder (The Body Finder #1) by Kimberly Derting

Book Description: Violet Ambrose is grappling with two major issues: Jay Heaton and her morbid secret ability. While the sixteen-year-old is confused by her new feelings for her best friend since childhood, she is more disturbed by her "power" to sense dead bodies—or at least those that have been murdered. Since she was a little girl, she has felt the echoes that the dead leave behind in the world... and the imprints that attach to their killers. Violet has never considered her strange talent to be a gift; it mostly just led her to find the dead birds her cat had tired of playing with. But now that a serial killer has begun terrorizing her small town, and the echoes of the local girls he's claimed haunt her daily, she realizes she might be the only person who can stop him. Despite his fierce protectiveness over her, Jay reluctantly agrees to help Violet on her quest to find the murderer—and Violet is unnerved to find herself hoping that Jay's intentions are much more than friendly. But even as she's falling intensely in love, Violet is getting closer and closer to discovering a killer... and becoming his prey herself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I loved this book. In total there are 3 books out and 1 book being written in the series but out of all of them this one is my favorite. This book was very perfect for some one like me, a paranormal romance YA book. The characters were amazing and so was the plot. Violet has a special power. She can sense the dead, like their echos. Whether its on people or in the ground Violet has to constantly fight the urge to go search for dead animals in the forest by her house, with the help of her best friend Jay Heaton. A serial Killer has been kidnapping local girls, some of which Violet knew, and shes the only one who can stop him. Jay helps her try to take down the deranged man, but along the way they surrender to the love they both have been hiding from each other for years. But can their love, the only thing they have, stop a serial killer from coming after Violet. Jay does his best to protect her from drunk horny teenagers and deranged psychopaths while falling more in love with her. I was so drunk in the aroma of emotions those two have together. Definitely recommend this awesome blossom book to other book addicts like me.

Forbidden (Fallen Series Book 2) by Micalea Smeltzer

Book Description: Graduation is fast approaching and with it the threat of Selena looms closer and closer. But the question is leave? Or fight? Jonathon will do anything to keep Kylie safe even if that means entrusting their lives in their greatest enemy next to Selena, The Coven. Graduation has hardly ended when the Pulmers and The Coven are on the road with precious cargo in tow. Kylie is not at all pleased with this arrangement. Hiding in the woods in a tent from Selena doesn’t make much sense to her. Kylie knows that Selena is after a fight and if Selena wants a fight that’s what she’s going to get. Loyalties are tested, temptation is around every corner, and not everyone will make it out alive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: After i read Fallen (book One) i was so stoked, i saw that it was the first book so i decided to look up when the next book would be out. Just my luck the second book was already out, so i bought it on my kindle and immediately dug in. Let me tell you I COULD NOT put this book down. I was on the edge of my furry purple chair, chewing my fingernails in suspense. Whats Selena going to do next? In this book Selena does what ever she can to get to Kylie, even trying to make her fall in love with someone else. Poor Jonathon. Selena just wont stop, but neither will Jonathon. He will do what ever it takes to protect Kylie so will his family. But will it be enough? Will Kylie let everyone she loves sacrifice everything just to save her life? Loved ones die, hearts are broken, through so much emotional damage Kylie and the gang learn how to be happy again. The book Forbidden ending in a way that had me mad at the author until i read a little sneak peak at the third book. Thank you Micalea Smeltzer for writing a story that captivates the heart and soul of teenagers and book addicts like me. I will be forever waiting for the third book ;) I recommend this Awesome Blossom book to Book addicts like me

Kylie is about to learn that not even your soul mate can protect you from everything. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: Wow. Let me catch my breath. Holy Hera, this book is Amazing! Where should i start? OK so this was the first book I've ever read of Micalea Smeltzer and i loved it. I loved the plot, the Characters, the emotional damage Kylie faces, the love that Kylie and Johnathon have for each other, all of it. Kylie has two older brother but they don't live at home any more so her mother packs her up and moves to Rome. Its there she meets a sexy Italian artist named Johnathon. She just so happens to be his soul mate. I know I know Another soul mate book? YES. Can the love they have for each other overcome the bad? They have hold each other up. The book doesn't end like others, where the bad guy was defeated, this book ended to where you want to buy the next book and see if Kylie and Jonathon stay together. I recommend this awesome blossom book to other Book Addicts like me.

Inescapable (The Premonition #1) by Amy A. Bartol

Book Description: My name is Evie Claremont and this was to be the making of me--my freshman year of college. I had been hoping that once I had arrived on Crestwood's campus, the nightmare that I've been having would go away. It hasn't. I may be an inexperienced seventeen-year-old, but I'm grounded...sane. Since meeting sophomore Reed Wellington, however, nothing makes any sense. Whenever he is near, I feel an attraction to him--a magnetic kind of force pulling me towards him. I know what you're thinking...that sounds fairly awesome. Yeah, it would--if he liked me, but Reed acts as if I'm the worst thing that's ever happened to Crestwood...or him. But, get this, for some reason every time I turn around he's there, barging into my life. What is the secret he is keeping from me? I'm hoping that it is anything but what I expect: that he is not exactly normal...and neither am I. So maybe Crestwood won't be the making of me, but it could be the breaking of me. I have been left to wonder if the dark future my dream is foretelling is...inescapable. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: At first i didn't want to read this book because of all the reviews (it being a love triangle) I never liked love triangles but this ones different. In this one Evie actually knows who she wants. The plot was fantastic, the characters were amazing ( never knew that the bad guy was actually ####), the dialog was fun to read, and the writing style was awesome blossom. Loved reading about Evie and Reed. The other two books in the series are already out and i can not wait to read them. So Evie lives with her uncle because her mother is dead and she never knew her father. Shes going to college when she meets Reed and Russel. Reed is sexy and dark and secretive, so why is Evie so drawn to him? Russel is athletic, sexy and funny, and yet Evie is drawn to him as well. Evie and Reed face evils throughout this book that they either have to over come or their relationship is trashed. Is it worth it To let go of everything she's known to be with Reed? Evie is learning about herself and reed, also how Russel is tied into this story, which i have to say is very interesting. Should Evie be with Reed or Russel. I have no idea because the book ends before i figure out what the hell is going on. The way Amy Bartol ended the book was mind blowing. She has another fan on her hands, i will recommend this to any other Book Addict who loves all things dark and sexy.

Enchant Me by Anne Violet

Book Description: Rumors. Magic. Secrets. Attraction. Even though she is only 17 years old, Alexis Maher has her life planned out, in all its creative, wacky, splendor. Unfortunately, fate has other plans. Her psychotic ex-boyfriend is stalking her, her new boyfriend is keeping a dangerous secret, and her own burgeoning powers just might kill her ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I've read alot of the other reviews on this book and was a little surprised. Alot of the people who have read this book didn't like it very much. It was to childish, to much kissing, blah blah blah. That doesn't mean i would not read a book because of a couple of bad reviews. My moto is if i like it ima get it. So i did and let me tell you this book was amazing! I can understand where others are coming from but i liked the plot and loved the characters. I never in a million years thought Alexis new Bf (Christen) had powers like her. i was on the edge of my seat about halfway through. Lex is a seductive, motorcycle riding photographer with powers of course. And christen is a sexy soccer playing artist who just so happens to have powers as well. They meet the kiss a few times and the WHAM their in love, just one problem, Alexis's psychotic ex is stalking her AGAIN! Will their love and new found powers be enough to make it through? I've heard that there is going to be another book but from Christens POV so i can not wait until this happens. The only reason i got this book was because it was .99 cents but It was worth it. Thank you Anne Violet for creating a masterpiece!

Siren (Siren #1) by Tricia Rayburn

Book Description: Seventeen-year-old Vanessa Sands is afraid of everything--the dark, heights, the ocean--but her fearless older sister, Justine, has always been there to coach her through every challenge. That is until Justine goes cliff diving one night near the family's vacation house in Winter Harbor, Maine, and her lifeless body washes up on shore the next day. Vanessa's parents want to work through the tragedy by returning to their everyday lives back in Boston, but Vanessa can't help feeling that her sister's death was more than an accident. After discovering that Justine never applied to colleges, and that she was secretly in a relationship with longtime family friend Caleb Carmichael, Vanessa returns to Winter Harbor to seek some answers. But when Vanessa learns that Caleb has been missing since Justine's death, she and Caleb's older brother, Simon, join forces to try to find him, and in the process, their childhood friendship blossoms into something more. Soon it's not just Vanessa who is afraid. All of Winter Harbor is abuzz with anxiety when another body washes ashore, and panic sets in when the small town becomes home to a string of fatal, water-related accidents . . . in which all the victims are found grinning from ear to ear. As Vanessa and Simon probe further into the connections between Justine's death and the sudden rash of creepy drownings, Vanessa uncovers a secret that threatens her new romance, and that will change her life forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: This book wasn't the best book in the world but i did have a fun time reading it. What made it good was there were some twists in the plot, the characters were amazing, and the author wrote this book at the write pace. I love the romance story mixed in with the mermaid story. Awesome Blossom. The story is basically about finding out what happened to Vanessas older sister Justine. Vanessa and childhood friend Simon embark on an adventure to find the truth and maby on the way, Caleb. The story gets so more deep as Vanessa tries to save Simon and Caleb from a delusional psychopath who is killing people. The story starts out with Vanessa just digging into her sisters death and ends with her trying to figure out her relationship with Simon and her Life as a #####. Over all it was a good YA book. Loved it, would defiantly recommend to other Book Addicts like me

Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side (Jessica #1) by Beth Fantaskey

Book Description: The undead can really screw up your senior year ... Marrying a vampire definitely doesn’t fit into Jessica Packwood’s senior year “get-a-life” plan. But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian vampire princess by birth—and he’s her long-lost fiancé. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire’s Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess. But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war—and save Lucius’s soul from eternal destruction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: Ok so i picked this book up at the library a few months ago thinking "mmm, looks interesting". Took me 2-3 days to read this book. It was truly amazing. It is the first book of the series, but the second one is already out. Cant wait to read it. Ok so Jessica is actually an adopted vampire princess. She is betrothed to Lucius Vladescu, the vampire prince who has traveled all the way from Romania to persuade Jessica to marry him. After a while though he thinks its hopeless so he stops trying and ends up acting like a normal teenager. Going to party's, drinking, acting out of control. Jessica kinda ends up finding out she loves him but its too late he wont marry her. She goes through alot of emotional trauma in this book. Long story short After trying and trying Jessica finally ends up marrying Lucius. The story is continued in the next book Jessica's rules to the dark side which i can not wait to read. There were alot of juicy parts in here that really stole my heart!

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer

Book Description: Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, the ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl. . . . Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: The book was very good, it had amazing characters and a very interesting plot. I mean a Cinderella Cyborg? Where did the author come up with that? Awesome Blossom. Cinder is a Cinderella story told in the future. It has a lot of twists with the queen and prince Kia which made me not want to put it down. But then it got towards the ending and i was like? WTF? I did not like the ending at ALL! After i finished reading it i found out that this is only book one in the series, but i didn't really want to read the next book. I might though. Let me make this clear. This is just my opinion. Just because a review said they disliked the book doesn't mean you will. But i personally just didn't like the way Kia treated Cinder at the ending even after all they had been through. The next book in the series is more about Cinder finding more info about her past. The only reason i chose this book was for the romance and really it didn't have any. I will give it a 3 out of 5 stars because i liked the rest of the book except the ending. The next book Scarlet will be out in 2013 i think.

Outsider by Micalea Smeltzer

Book Description: Everything is about to change for Sophie Beaumont. Sophie has moved her entire life; never staying in one place too long. She didn’t understand why… until now. Sophie is a shifter. A wolf shifter and she has a lot to learn. About being herself, being a wolf, and being what she needs to be to protect her pack. On top of that, her intense feelings for the pack’s Alpha, Caeden, threatens to ruin everything. Especially if the rival pack, the Grimm’s, find out that Sophie is not the human she claims to be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: Can i Just say i love the cover?? Its awesome Blossom. Totally love the book as well. Out of all the books i read from Micalea Smeltzer this one stole my heart. OK so Sophie is a shifter like the rest of the gang. The only difference is that she didn't grow up knowing this important detail, and it was for her safety that she didn't find out. Her parents move around A LOT so she spends summers with her Grandmother where she meets Caeden. The packs Alpha. He's sexy and confident. No wonder shes so drawn to him, oh yeah and the fact that shes his mate. Every Shifter thought mates were myth. Legend until Sophie and Caeden meet at her grandmas store. They get to know each other when the big bad wolf comes in and kidnaps Sophie. He and his deranged family keeps Sophie under lock and key torturing her for a long time. Shes gone for so long she even misses Christmas; which happens to be her favorite holiday. Caeden rescues her eventually with the help of her dog Archie. That little rascal makes me want to go buy the same type just to say i have Sophie's dog. The ending defiantly made me want to get the next book. Can not wait until Insider (Outsider Book 2) comes out. I so want a love like Sophie and Caeden. For more updates on book two go to http://micaleasmeltzer.blogspot.com/

Unearthly (Unearthly #1) by Cynthia Hand

Book Description: In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . . Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy. Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place—and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side. As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make—between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny? Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I read this book months ago but never got around to writing a review on goodreads so here's one now. I did personally like this book because it was a fantasy romance (and we all know how i love me the fantasy romance) but i liked it because it was the first angel book that i actually liked reading about. There are more books in the series i think but i didn't really feel the need to read the rest. Clara is part angel and has a purpose on earth. That purpose involves a boy, and shes supposed to save him. At least that's how she perceives her visions. The Visions lead her to a new state, new school, and new friends.Everything is all fine and dandy, shes getting close to Christian and her visions are getting more detailed, until she meets Tucker. She falls for him hard. Then she goes through the whole am i supposed to be with Christian or Tucker. In the end she chooses Tucker while still saving Christian. The ending is made to where you want to read the next book to find out what happened but i kind of liked leaving things where they were. But would recommend this book to fellow teenage Book Addicts like me :)

Warning: This book contains some adult content ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: This book is a reality book. Don't get me wrong i liked it but i much more prefer fantasy but when i read this book, Whew i could feel the heat between Libby and Tony. Libby has loved Tony ever since she met him. She tries to hide it from her best friend, who happens to be Tony's younger sister. Tony didn't realize he love Libby until she was about 16, which would be when he was 19. He always felt like he couldn't be with her because he was 3 years older than her. When it turns out that Libby has a boyfriend, tony becomes jealous. throughout the chapters Libby and Tony get in fights make up, then he does something that makes her feel like he doesn't want her so she then retaliates by not talking to him for five months. She then goes off to college out of the country where she meets Gio. They start going out and he goes back home with her. At a bar Gio helps Libby make Tony jealous, he wants to help Libby get her man. Tony decides to take Libby home with him since she had "to many drinks." That's where they ended up in bed together. The book kind of ends where they both admit they love each other and they get married. I really liked this book, it got me into wanting to read more reality books.

She was smart and on track but then her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has. Then she meets Caleb. She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she is supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally. They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive. Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him. Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I liked this book because it was another soul-mate type. Those are my favorites. When i first go this book i was kinda like i'll get to it when i get to it. But after i started reading i couldn't put it down. Maggie is in a fog when the book starts. Her dad is is depressed because his wife and Maggie's mother left them for another man, along with Maggie's college money. Maggie hates her mother and her father right about now. Her dad isn't being there for her and her mom isn't caring. Maggie leaves the house, just to get out while shes waiting for a text from a boy (Kyle). She comes to a stop light and there is another person there (Caleb). He doesn't pay attention and a driver almost turns as Caleb is walking out into the street. Not thinking Maggie just pulls him back towards the side walk just as the car is passing. They instantly have a connection. When it turns out that the guys she was waiting to text her is cousins with Caleb, he takes her to the party where Kyle is at. When they get there they imprint. The next they know is that the Watson family have kidnapped Maggie. They keep her for 4 days torturing her, trying to keep the two of them from gaining their ability's. Its against their rules to kill another for something without proof. So When Caleb knows for sure where Maggie is he and his family have a surprise attack. They get Maggie back, and they tell her father about all of it, why she was kidnapped, the imprinting everything. There are more books in the series i just haven't gotten around to reading them, but i look forward to seeing what happens to their relationship. The author wrote this book well and i would recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy romance story's.

Prince of Wolves By Quinn Loftis (Book One)

Book Description: Jaque Pierce was just an ordinary 17 year old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer was going to get a lot more interesting. From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis lupis, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul. The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas. Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane's mate and complete the bond between them? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: The reason i got this book was because it was free on the kindle so i thought "ay what the heck". I am glad i did get it because its a very good book. The language between the three girls is funny and very realistic. Its getting towards the end of summer vacation when a foreign exchange student from Romania ends up staying at the house across from her. He turns out to be a shifter and she is his mate. Jacquelyn doesn't understand why she feels so drawn to him, how he can read her mind and send her thoughts. The thing she does understand is shes falling for him, hard. Turns out Fane did some research and it said that no other Canis Lupis claimed cold-spring as his territory. Thats not exactly true. A pack Alpha is claiming Jacquelyn as his mate, which ticks Fane off. His parents fly in from Romania when Fane accepts to fight with the alpha. Jacque is struggling with the fact that Fane might just lose. And in this type of match, the loser dies. Her two best friends help her throughout the whole tragic experience. I did like this book because of the whole soul-mate kind of plot. Those are my favorite books, where guy meets girl finds out that girl is his soul mate, then the big bad evil guy tries to kill/take girl so guy steps in and ends up being girls hero. I would defiantly recommend this book to others.

Protecting Lily has become the biggest challenge of Tharin’s life. Lucky for him he has help in the form of his twin brother, Tolan, Lily’s best friend Julia and his three bodyguard cousins ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I am a very romance/fantasy kinda girl and this book was perfect me. It was another one of those i can not put it down. i was like just one more chapter and i'll got to bed...10 chapters and 3 cups of coffee later im still awake. I loved the fact that in the beginning Tharin hated her because of the whole marriage thing but towards the end he finally figured out he loved her. Two days after her birthday Lilly is running in the park (she does this every year for her birthday) but this time she was attacked. She then finds out her brother who disappeared four years prior is the one attacking her. Sorta in denial she goes with her fiance on a journey to his world to find her brother and bring him back. Tharin is a guy who is in line for the thrown, and the way to stop war is by marring Lilly. There's just one problem. Hes in love with someone else, at least he thinks he's in love with Kalis. That is until he met Lilly. They struggle through states trying to survive while their love for each other grows. Thorin is Tharin's brother. He went on the trip with Tharin to get Lilly, when he meets Julia. The abused best friend of his future queen. They end up falling in love as well. this has got to be one of my favorite books, although if you are one of those people who hate cliffhangers this probably isn't a good book to read. I have to agree with those who hated the ending because i was like on the edge of my seat and then it said Ending of book one. I am currently following the author for updates on the next book because i want to find out when Tharin is going to tell Lilly he loves her.

Book Description: First love’s a killer, but so is seventeen-year-old Annabelle Blanc. The teenager was raised to be an assassin and taught to never fall in love. Setting his sights on the beautiful Annabelle, he's drawn to the mysterious new girl who's playing hard to get. Gabriel also finds himself drawn into a world of deception, violence and murder. Off-centered for the first time in her life, Annabelle struggles to fight her doomed attraction for the handsome Gabriel. In this gritty, mature YA novel, you'll follow Annabelle and Gabriel in an intense, funny, angry, crazy, rocky and passionate romance. As two worlds collide and they're repeatedly thrown together and pulled apart by fate, will Annabelle and Gabriel overcome betrayals, revenge and heartbreak to find a lasting love? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: I liked this book very much. It was kinda Young Adult, but more of for 14 years and older. It did have sexual content, but other than that i loved reading about the stuff Annabelle and Gabriel had to face to be together. Gabriel is one of those if i want something im going to get it kind of guys. He doesn't stop going for Annabelle. His reasons for following her change a few times during the book. He struggles alot throughout the book. Annabelle is one of those i do what i do because its right. Nothing is going to change her mind. She has been an assassin ever since she was like 12 or 13 and so has her brother, Jackson. Thats the only life they've ever known. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars because it truly did capture the interest of a teenager. I could sorta understand Annabelle when she had to face the idea of Gabriel not loving her back. I know exactly how that feels. And i can also see where Gabriel is coming from, having a loved one you just cant get out of your head even though they hurt you in the most tragic way possible. I loved reading about the heat between these two, and the fights Gabriel and his cousin get into. Over all it was perfect for a book addict like me. Although i read it in a day, it was just so good i couldn't put it down, i would defiantly read it again and recommend this to others.
