Prince of Wolves By Quinn Loftis (Book One)

Book Description: Jaque Pierce was just an ordinary 17 year old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer was going to get a lot more interesting. From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis lupis, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul. The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas. Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane's mate and complete the bond between them? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review: The reason i got this book was because it was free on the kindle so i thought "ay what the heck". I am glad i did get it because its a very good book. The language between the three girls is funny and very realistic. Its getting towards the end of summer vacation when a foreign exchange student from Romania ends up staying at the house across from her. He turns out to be a shifter and she is his mate. Jacquelyn doesn't understand why she feels so drawn to him, how he can read her mind and send her thoughts. The thing she does understand is shes falling for him, hard. Turns out Fane did some research and it said that no other Canis Lupis claimed cold-spring as his territory. Thats not exactly true. A pack Alpha is claiming Jacquelyn as his mate, which ticks Fane off. His parents fly in from Romania when Fane accepts to fight with the alpha. Jacque is struggling with the fact that Fane might just lose. And in this type of match, the loser dies. Her two best friends help her throughout the whole tragic experience. I did like this book because of the whole soul-mate kind of plot. Those are my favorite books, where guy meets girl finds out that girl is his soul mate, then the big bad evil guy tries to kill/take girl so guy steps in and ends up being girls hero. I would defiantly recommend this book to others.
